Hopping on the train to @UniversitätMünster any minute now, with my paper finished just in time. The annual convention of American Studies beckons with this year’s theme: “Kinship.”
As always, my angle is TEFL and belonging. After running the teaching panel for the better part of a decade, I passed it on to Silke Braselmann and Ricardo Römhild. It is so important to keep language education visible within English & American Studies, and the door open for school teachers. Thank you for organizing such an intriguing and important panel, “Kinship, Community, and Belonging in Language Education!” Feels good to return as a speaker.
Can’t wait to chat, to reconnect, and to be surprised.
